Elmsley Homes’ Founder and Chief Executive Officer is Lee Taylor 

Lee is a qualified solicitor who spent 25 years practising law in London and Singapore, before retiring as a solicitor in December 2021 and relocating back to the UK to focus full-time on residential property development. Lee is involved in all aspects of the development life cycle from sourcing site opportunities, to acquiring them, arranging bridge and development finance, securing planning permissions, as well as being heavily involved in the choice of interior and exterior materials and finishes to ensure that the completed properties are properties that we ourselves would want to live in.

Elmsley Homes’ Chief Operating Officer is Nadia Taylor

Nadia, Lee’s wife, is also a former solicitor. Nadia looks after all the operational affairs within the business including the groups’ accounts and tax matters, as well as all payments to suppliers and contractors. She takes the lead on sales and marketing, designing the sales brochures, liaising with estate agents and arranging the print and social media marketing campaigns.

Elmsley Homes’ Development Director is Thomas Buckby

Thomas is a RICS chartered surveyor who leads and oversees all of the group’s property development projects from inception to completion. His role includes identifying opportunities, securing funding, managing planning and design stages, as well as leading and overseeing the group's construction operations . He is responsible for ensuring that our projects align with our strategic goals, meet regulatory requirements, and are delivered on time and within budget. As our Development Director, he takes the lead on all stakeholder relationships, assessing market trends, and driving the commercial success of developments.

Elmsley Homes’ Project Manager is Hayden Meates 

Hayden is our chartered project manager and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing our construction projects from start to finish. He manages budgets, timelines, resources, and teams to ensure successful project delivery. His duties include liaising with our team members, contractors, and consultants, handling contracts, monitoring progress, and resolving issues. He ensures that all of our projects meet quality standards, safety regulations, and our overall expectations while remaining on time and within budget. 

Elmsley Homes’ Senior Quantity Surveyor is Chris Day

Chris’s primary role is to manage the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. His role includes estimating costs, preparing tender documents, managing budgets, and ensuring value for money while maintaining quality standards. He monitors project progress, controls expenses, and handles legal and contractual issues. He works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. 

Elmsley Homes’ Site Managers are David Singh and Adrian Cardy

David oversees the day-to-day operations at our Eastwood Park construction site in Falfield and Adrian oversees the day-to-day operations at our Old Quarries construction site in Avening. They are responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. They coordinate workers, sub-contractors, and deliveries, monitor progress, enforce health and safety regulations, and resolve any issues that arise. They also liaise with the rest of the team, engineers and architects to ensure each project meets design specifications and quality standards.
